벤담의 Panopticon

그러고 보니 현재사회는 벤담의 원리를 잘 도입해가는 것 같다. 사실 감시라는 것 때문에 블로그에 글을 자유롭게 올릴 수도 없다.
이게 바로 시범케이스를 통한 Psychological uncertainty인가??
역 파놉티콘을 방해 교란하려는 것도 큰 문제인데 그냥 대놓고 들이대는 이 정권.
He proposed it as a model prison, whereby the prisoners' activities could be seen virtually at all times by the prison warders. By the same token, the inmates could not see the guards, and never know when surveillance was upon him. The psychological uncertainty was in itself part of the control and discipline of prisoners.
